This place dates back to the times of Mahabharata when Pandavas visited the valley of Viratnagar during their Agyatwas. It has a hill which is made up of huge rocks and holds remains which add evidence to the interesting excerpts fromMahabharata. The hill top has a Hanuman temple with a scenic view of Viratnagar. This spot is also famous for a 6 feet long shivalinga placed in it.
This gigantic monument was built by the mughal emperor Akbar who used to visit Sariska for hunting. Apart from being his hunting lodge, Mughal Gate was also used as Akbar's Diwan-e-Aam (Hall for public address).
This beautiful spot, situated right opposite to Mughal Gate, is also from the times of Akbar and was used as Diwan-e-Khaas (Hall of private guests). It was later gifted by Akbar to one of his nine gems, Todarmal Jain. The place has been beautifully restored by Jain community and has a beautiful art gallery with paintings from ancient times.

Bijak Pahadi - (3 km from the resort)
Bijak Pahadi is a hill where tourists can witness the remains of Buddhist monasteries which existed in 634 AD. Lower central part of the platform is a circular chamber which resembles a temple in view and is considered to be the oldest temple structure. Buddhist inscriptions on the exterior walls of the temple were built during the reign of 'King Ashoka' whose inscription is also present at Bijak Pahadi.
